Create a reflection journal on your Blog and answer the following questions:
1. Why did you select the inspiration pieces?
2. Why did you select the media to create your self-portrait?
3. What challenges did you face in creating your self-portrait and how did
you overcome them?
4. How does this piece represent you?
5. What elements and principles of art did you apply in this work?
6. Did you enjoy working on this project?
7. What do you think of your final artwork?

1. I selected the images of William Henry Harrison, Vincent Van Gogh, and Portrait of a man because they were
Very inspirational. These portraits were what I set out to create.
However my portrait lived up to my artistic ability.
2. I used pencil to create my self portrait because I like using pencil.
You can shade well and the pencil makes nice lines in the portrait.
3.The challenges that I faced in creating my self-portrait was the drawing
the part.  I am not a good drawer at all but I overcame it but just doing
the best that I could and drew a self portrait.
4. I think the piece does kinda look like me, and I think it represents me
I think because I drew it.
5. I tried to use elements and principles of lines, shading, some pattern
and proportion as I drew this portrait.
6. I did enjoy working on my self-portrait.  It was fun, my children even
tried to draw their own portraits.
7. I like my final artwork a lot and think that it is work that was done
to the best of my ability.
