For the lowdown on Lowbrow video the key concept that I learned is that their is a cartoon language art and this was an important time in the art movement. Pop surrealism is a very popular form of art that is very popular among artists.
For the displaying modern art video the key concept that I learned that there are many different ways in which art can be displayed and the museum space can be spread out all over in different ways and spaces.
In the Bones of Contention: Native American Archaeology this video was very informational in the historical way bones and fragments can have other meaning to other people and how traditions means more to some than others.
And in the video An Acquiring Mind: Philippe DE Montebello and the Metropolitan it was extremely interesting in how his styles were used in the setting up of different displays.
I think the videos will relate to the creation of my art Exhibition project. The video explain ideas of art and how they are displayed to enhance the art i will be using. The videos also explain certain aspects of traditions and how certain items mean different traditions.
I thought the videos explained art concepts very well, certain videos had different views and talked about alot of different angles of art. I think this will add some great information to me creating my project.
